Shawn is born and raised in Melville, Saskatchewan, and spent a decade in Saskatoon before moving to Regina. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan in 2008 and began his career with RMIS in January of 2009.

Throughout his years with RMIS, Shawn has been involved in all aspects of the business; currently he holds the role of Project Engineer and specializes in the design of roof systems, building envelope systems and fall protection. Shawn is a Certified Fall Protection Design Professional in accordance with CSA-Z259 – Fall Protection Series. Along with Percy, Shawn is also a Registered Roof Consultant with RCI, a rare distinction belonging to only 12 others in Canada.

In 2010, Shawn married his wife Amanda and they welcomed their beautiful baby boy in late 2012. He relishes spending time with his family, which also includes 2 dogs, camping and being outdoors. Shawn also enjoys spending time cruising around town on his motorcycle and collecting super powers in strides to become the next Clarke Kent!
